The Wonju Cultural Foundation values the personal information of its providers and will collect and use this information as outlined below to ensure protection in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act. The Foundation adheres to the regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws concerning personal information.

1. Personal Information Collection Items and Collection Method
As the Wonju Cultural Foundation organizes and conducts the 2024 Wonju Dancing Carnival, it is collecting the following personal information for the purpose of the selection process. We do not collect sensitive personal information, such as race, ideology, creed, political orientation, criminal record, or medical information, that could infringe upon the provider’s fundamental human rights.

Required Information: Name, affiliation, address, contact information, email address

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Wonju Cultural Foundation collects personal information solely for the purpose of the selection process. The information provided will not be used for any other purposes, and any changes to the purpose of use will require prior consent from the individual.

3. Disclosure and Provision of Personal Information
The Wonju Cultural Foundation uses the provided personal information only within the scope described in “2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information” and does not use it beyond this scope or disclose it to outside parties without the provider’s prior consent. Exceptions to this rule are made only in cases specified by Article 18 (Restrictions on Use and Provision of Personal Information) of the Personal Information Protection Act, where personal information may be used and disclosed with caution.


4. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In compliance with Article 21 of the Personal Information Protection Act, collected personal information will be destroyed without delay when it is no longer needed, such as upon the expiration of the retention period or the completion of the processing purpose (unless retention is mandated by other legal requirements).

The Wonju Cultural Foundation collects consent forms for media coverage, reporting, and portrait and photography rights from individuals participating in its projects. By submitting the consent form, participants are deemed to have granted their prior consent to the following conditions.


1. All media coverage, reporting and portrait photography work conducted for the production of promotional materials for the media outlets or the Wonju Cultural Foundation, including interviews, photography and video shooting
2. Personal information collected through this consent form will be used exclusively for supporting media coverage, reporting, and portrait photography activities, as well as for creating promotional materials for the Wonju Cultural Foundation. This information will not be used for any other purposes.

Personal Information Collection Items and Retention Period

• Collected information: Portrait photography works, name, age, gender, address, contact information
• Retention period: For three (3) years following the submission of the consent form

Purpose of Personal Information Collection

• The Wonju Cultural Foundation collects personal information for the purpose of supporting media and broadcasting companies in their reporting and portrait photography activities, and for creating promotional materials for the Foundation. This personal information will not be used for any purposes other than those specified above.
